A Bucs career passer rating of 66.2. Lead the Bucs to playoff appearances in 1979, 1981 and 1982; including theNFC Championship game in 1979. Lead the Redskins to a victory in Super Bowl XXII by passing for 4 TDs and 340 yards.

Inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2001.
