As a rookie, he broke the team's single-season scoring record (96 points). He was nearly automatic from less than 40 yards, making 63 of 67 tries for a career percentage of 94.9%. Has kicked 9 field goals of 50 yards or longer, including a 55 yarder against the Vikings in 1986. He had a career field goal accuracy of 53% for attempts over 50 yards.
